As time moves forward, technology causes our society to evolve in drastic ways, consistently influencing consumer behavior and market positioning strategies. When newspapers were first introduced, companies were originally resistant to promoting their products and services through this new medium. Yet some businesses were brave enough to test the waters, and ended up finding great success in newspaper advertising. It became a dominant delivery channel for marketing materials and still thrives today, even if it has been disrupted by newer tools, strategies, and delivery channels.
As a marketing agency, we know the importance of routinely auditing our strategies and optimizing our marketing operations, so that we can continue to offer our clients the best possible services and help them grow their businesses. After recently analyzing our services and the current digital marketing landscape in 2025, we came up with our Top 3 Digital Marketing Tools of 2025 and wanted to share them with you all. Of course, many of these have existed for a long time, but their prevalence is growing quickly.
Bing Ads
Bing is a search engine created by Microsoft that was released in 2009. Understanding that Google was dominating the search engine market, they decided it was best to get their slice of the pie. With Google’s dominance, Microsoft probably knew it would take a while for them to grow a larger usage of their new search engine. Well, that time is here.

For the first time in the history of Bing, they have gained 8% of the US search engine market share, with the numbers seeming to correlate with Google’s declining share.
With this trend being likely to continue, we are seeing the importance of utilizing Bing through Bing Business Profile and their other tools, but primarily Bing Ads– especially for service industries.
Why?
First, let’s look at Google Search Ads.
When Google released “Local Services Ads”, it pushed the sponsored search advertisements down on the SERP (Search Engine Results Page), below a massive display. This display typically only lists the highest dollar businesses in an area, and in our experience (after managing millions of dollars in advertising budgets) is much more expensive to run. The primary metric provided by Google for Local Services Ads is essentially “pay-per-call”, and this can be anywhere from $80-$400 per call. Most small businesses cannot afford this, so they use Google Search Ads. However, with Google Search Ads being pushed below the Local Services display, and often also below the Google “Map-pack”, these ads tend to be missed by the actual paying customers they are trying to gain the attention of.
Well, Bing does not have a “local services” type mechanism, so Bing Search Ads show up at the top of the SERP. We won’t disclose exact numbers, to protect our clients business data, but our experience has shown that these ads have an incredible ROI. In February of this year, the month this is being written, we have achieved amazing CPV, or Cost-Per-Conversion (cost-per paying customer). We have seen as low as $12 CPV for services that cost $500+ here in Seattle. Some of our other clients are in other US cities, and are also seeing great results with Bing Ads.

LinkedIn has been steadily growing their userbase in the United States over the last 10 years, growing an average of 5% each year, reaching nearly 67 million users in 2022. Marketing agencies have taken note of this, and LinkedIn’s marketing revenue has grown by 20% in just two years.
With this in mind, and understanding that LinkedIn is primarily used by businesses and their employees, it is becoming increasingly beneficial to utilize this platform for reaching target audiences. Whether for selling products or offering services, LinkedIn offers a landscape built more on professionalism, which can help minimize noise and prevent content from being displayed to “trolls” or low qualifying leads.
There are also features on LinkedIn that make it an amazing place for organic growth. This is just our own “secret sauce”, and may not work for everyone, but we often have employees of a business use their personal LinkedIn profiles to “connect” with 500 relevant individuals and then “invite” them to the main organization page of their business. This costs zero dollars in advertising, and can grow authority, search ranking, and follower-base.
Website Blog Posts
Website blog posts, like this one, have their own special place in the world. By this, we mean they are typically shown in their own special “block” within a search engine results page based on their relevance.

For example, when searching for “filing a restraining order” in the greater Seattle area, a few posts that are indexed by Google and ranked highly in relevance are displayed in their own box on the righthand side. If your posts show first, this can be an amazing ad-dollar free way of growing your business and reaching target audiences. If a website blog post ranks high enough for this, it is likely great content, and therefore boosts your authority, trustworthiness, and expertise as a functioning organization.
In fact, you may how found this website blog post in a Bing block for relevant posts in Seattle, which we have obtained through optimizing our keywords, page structure, and understanding what the customer behaviors of our target audience- which is likely you.
